Harare Church Members Need The Gospel Of Truth

By Katrina Wheeler

Many people are battling to find the truth about the concepts of Jesus, the son of the Almighty God. People are shifting from one center of worship to another in search for the true Gospel of Christ. This applies to all people including the Harare Church members.

It is not however easy to accomplish this mission without the church leader understanding their congregation in a better manner. Most people attending a place of worship actually have no time to listen to the modern Gospel. They want the real thing, the real teachings of Christ they were to hear from the beginning of time.

Perhaps what many sanctuary leaders are forgetting is that the congregation is satisfied with lies and manipulations. What most preachers talk about on the podium is actually a misinterpretation of the word of God. This obviously leaves the congregation with so many questions about what the body of Christ should really be like.

A place of worship should be a place where the people of God go to get the good news of the Kingdom of heaven. When Jesus sent out his twelve disciples to the four corners of the earth, He asked them to preach the Good News of the Kingdom to people out there. This is the actual mission of the spiritual leaders; bringing as many souls to Christ as possible.

People preaching to the congregation should give information that is true, motivational, inspirational and accurate. You see the Bible is not like any other book, it is the word of God in the making and should be properly utilized for the purpose for which it was created. Perhaps the servants of God who preach to people should revisit the quoting of Jesus on the great commission, as a reminder that they are to take up no other responsibility other than bringing souls to heaven.

Churches should act as centers of motivation, where people will learn and see Christ as their center of hope and ultimate blessings. When preachers talk about success in business, healing and prosperity in exchange for a prophetic offering, it leaves the weak congregation members who cannot offer money everyday with questions. They go home sad than they went to church.

Because many church members are inconstant pursuit for the truth, church leaders and speakers should go back to their knees and ask for help from God. They should ask Him to lead them in the right way. They should ask God to help them delivery the right message of Christ.

If the Harare Church leads by example, begins following the actual path of Christ, and teaches the Good News of the Gospel of Truth, the church will expand and be edified. All centers of worship in this State will grow to become the best place where people who are weak, weary and strong alike can meet the face of God and feel His presence. There is need for a change, for real.
