In the Sunshine State, residents have the freedom to access public records anytime they need to. This is because Florida is one of the states in the US that follows the Freedom of Information Act. This mandate is important because it helps people ensure their safety by finding or gathering information about an individual they do not yet know that much about. It is also important to have a self-addressed stamped envelope ready so that your request will be acted upon.
