Those will be militant to a large degree and will defend themselves, often, at danger of being discovered and caught. These are those who believe, honestly, that the government wants to confiscate guns and ammunition.
Those that agree about not relinquishing their second amendment rights, but are not a part of such a group is more open and outgoing about their need for secrecy, however, they still keep everything they have very close to their chest. They work more with legislative efforts than with what some would consider open warfare.
These people are very serious minded individuals. They have a definite purpose in mind and they are, usually, single minded about it. They seclude themselves so they are able to withstand whatever is thrown at them. They do not take kindly to outsiders and expect you to respect that.
